Columbus Golf Course
Hallettsville Golf Course
The Hallettsville Municipal Golf Course is a quaint 9-hole, par-36 that starts off fairly simply with four par 4s, but then takes you on an interesting ride over the final five holes. . The clubhouse is friendly and active with locals and guests.
Fishing
Bring a fishing pole or purchase one in town and come fish the pond for perch, catfish, and bass.
Perch
Purchase a fishing pole and some worms in town at The Hideaway general store, and catch some Bluegill and Redear perch. Great fun for kids and easy to catch and release.
Catfish
The pond was stocked in early 2024 so the catfish are sure to be bigger than the one shown here. The pond is somewhere between 15-20' deep in some areas.
Bass
We've had good luck fishing with live bait. You can buy worms and fishing poles from the SO Gas Station, or from the Splashway Water Park general store near the Hideaway.
